Armin has been unemployed for a long time and in desperate need of a job. His wife Jasmina is pregnant, and his son Edin has behavioural problems at school. One day, on his way to a job interview, he witnesses an accident and tries to help, which causes him to miss his interview. His brother-in-law takes him to a slaughterhouse on the outskirts of town, where his caretaker qualifications land him the position of a security guard. Armin stumbles upon a scene that leads him to discover that workers in the slaughterhouse are stealing. He decides to do the right thing and tell the truth, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
